St Nicolas relies on its members and the local community to support its activities. The money given to the Church is used to pay the Rector, cover the running costs of the Church, support its missions within the village and further afield, social work and to help those in need.
Regular giving is the best way of supporting the work of the Church as it lets St Nicolas understand how much money it is likely to recieve in the year, and understand how best it can be spent and what is possible.
There are several methods of making donations to the Church which are explained in more detail below, however regardless of which option you choose, we ask that you consider signing a Gift Aid decleration allowing us to claim back tax that you have already paid. Further details on the Gift Aid scheme are available on our Gift Aid page.
Standing Orders are an instruction to your Bank to make a donation to St Nicolas on your behalf on a certain day of the week or month. This is the most popular method of donating to the Church at the moment and can be set up by downloading this form, completing the left hand section and sending it to your bank manager. Please also see the Gift Aid section for details on how to increase your donation at no expense to yourself by completing the right hand side of the form and sending to the Church office. Please download the information leaflet for further details on donating using Standing Orders.
