New to Church?
The information that follows may well have changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic - please check the Resources page
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about the St Nicolas Church family.
Key information about the church...
When and where does the church meet? Covid-19 safety is assured
Every Sunday, usually at 8:00am, 11:00am and either 4pm or 6:30pm for our Sunday Services. Please see Sunday Services for more details as Covid-19 has caused some changes including limited numbers who may attend. Aim to arrive in good time if you need to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start. When the Church car park is full, the nearest public car park is in Village Way.
(Mid-week activities have been suspended)
We meet at:
St Nicolas Church (or the Church Rooms)
Surrey GU6 8AR
You can see a map on our contact us page.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Sidespeople and Welcome teams who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. We offer a wide variety of worship, details of which can be found here.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after all Sunday services (in the Church Rooms after 8am and 10am services and in Church after the 6:30pm service) where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.
What is there for families and children at church?
We have a dedicated Young People's minister and a fantastic programme for families and children in our church. Further details can be found here.
Is there a dress code?
Please just be comfortable and be yourself!
Will I have to join in?
Only if you want to! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask us.
Please feel free to contact us.
